PERSONALITY:
Tsubaki was once a willful young woman and it was that same carelessness that landed her spending years alone. Such a possessive beast with a strong tendency to hoard treasures, she nearly drove herself insane lurking in dark nothingness. Her desire for valuables is what originally drove her into the city, convincing herself that a century was enough to atone for her foolishness. Lacking so may basic life skills, it's her unconventional way of thinking and tenacity that got her this far. Tsubaki is a fast learner, with a mind that is practically a clean slate she has no trouble absorbing information and has found a talent for music within. Despite coming across rather reserved, she is passionate and hardworking. She veers away from meaningful connections out of fear of exposure, however, it doesn't prevent her from desiring it wholeheartedly. Tsubaki is of an extremely possessive nature and that truth further pushes her to remain aloof. First impressions are awful, limited socialization means a limited understanding of how she should act or respond, simply not acknowledging that she has been addressed is common behavior for Tsubaki. When confronted she immediately gets defensive, ignoring any potential reservations and going straight to insults as a defense. It's not surprising that she isn't the most popular person in her workplace. Luckily for Tsubaki, her skills are unparalleled and therefore make her indispensable wherever she chooses to work; or to whoever she works with. She can be a little otherworldly at times, as a being of significant stature some things are simply lost in translation; particularly when it comes to empathy or 'common sense.' Many things go straight over her head and that gives her a talent for hurting those around her, strangers or otherwise. Positives of Tsubaki include her unrelenting perseverance, unapologetic boldness and loyalty. She's a creature of routine and has the potential to be a place of solace for anyone who bothers to stick around.

HISTORY: Tsubaki was isolated deep in the Mariana Trench, located in the Pacific Ocean, for most of her life. She had wondered from her family at an early age and lived alone in her dragon form since. As a coral dragon, she was quite literally out of her depth and with next to no guidance, has the control of a hatchling. After years of listlessness passed, she decided to try at living a human life. Upon leaving her comfy cavern, she learned many things about humanity and began passing as one of them after only a few years of practice. Now with a relatively lucrative and low-profile job, she passes her simple surface-dwelling days by keeping herself busy with work.

Unfortunately, due to her limited experience as a coral dragon, she often faces complications and has become somewhat of a hermit despite her desire to socialize. As a dragon with a built-in pod mentality, so many years without any close connections dampens her general livelihood. When her emotions get the best of her, partial transformation occurs. White scales with an iridescent sheen can appear in patches anywhere on her humanoid form depending on how strongly she's feeling; at times the more dangerous pale pink talons will burst from her nail beds, or she'll start sprouting branch-like horns of a similar hue. She has to dye her hair again anytime she partially shifts. It's her inability to keep herself in check that pushes her away from more meaningful relationships, friendships or otherwise.
